    1. You have to take the drain stem and locate it on the bottom of the sink. If you are a little bit confuse what is the stem, a plastic tube that is 1.25 inches in diameter is the stem.
    2. Fitted over the drain stem, place the top of a P-trap fitting connect the two pieces by turning the nut clockwise over the stem. As the additional pressure may break the plastic, you need to tighten by hand; do not ever use any tools to tighten it.

    1. Next step, the straight tail piece of the P-trap should be moved to the roughed-in drain connection under the vanity.
    2. The nut on the P-trap’s tail piece should be placed onto the end of the drain pipe, and then turn clockwise the nut until it tight. The P-trap will have connected to the drain by this.

Connecting the Supply Lines

    1. On the main water line, you need to turn clockwise 90 degrees the ball valve clock to shut off the flow of water to the house.
    2. One end of a standard braided water supply line should be placed over the cold water valve under the vanity. Typically, the cold water valve is on the right side. Take a wrench and turn the nut on the supply line until tight.
    3. Another end of a standard braided water supply line should be placed over the hot water valve under the vanity. Typically, the hot water valve is on the left side. Take a wrench and turn the nut on the supply line until tight.
    4. The other ends of supply lines should be pulled up to the back of the sink. The line that’s connected should be placed to the cold water on the pipe threads under the right faucet handle, and the supply line that’s connected should be placed to the hot water on the left side.

  1. Take a wrench and turn clockwise both of the nuts on the supply lines. Both of the water lines will be connected to the vanity by this.
  2. To turn the water back on, you need to turn the main water line 90 degrees counterclockwise. Be sure the both of the handles on the vanity faucets have tested and no water is leaking through the P-trap.
